Delivery Driver(02814) - 200 East Norris

We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our 200 East Norris location in Ottawa. As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, values efficiency, and enjoys building positive relationships with customers while navigating your local area.

• Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure efficient service and on-time arrivals
• Carefully handle and transport packages, ensuring products arrive in excellent condition
• Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers with a friendly demeanor and addressing any questions or concerns
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation, including signatures and delivery confirmations
• Perform vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating a vehicle
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status and any obstacles encountered
• Build positive relationships with customers and represent the organization professionally at every stop
• Organize and manage your delivery schedule to meet daily targets and performance goals

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving history
• Must have access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standards
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professional work ethic
• Physical capability to safely lift and carry packages of varying sizes
• Positive attitude and genuine commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to work independently and follow directions from management
• Preferred: Knowledge of local Ottawa area and familiarity with GPS/navigation systems
• Preferred: Previous delivery or customer service experience
