Job Summary

Support the continued growth of our digital video ecosystem, who will own the design, development and evolution of our cross-platform video player solutions.

This role focuses on building and maintaining highly scalable, high-performance video playback experiences across multiple platforms while ensuring consistency, reliability and feature parity throughout our product portfolio.

You will work at the intersection of OTT technology, frontend engineering, media playback, advertising technology and user experience, helping to define how millions of users experience video content across digital brands.

Design and develop high-quality Android applications for digital brands

Build reusable application components shared across multiple products

Define modern Android architectures and coding standards

Ensure high performance, maintainability and scalability of applications

Drive technical decisions and platform evolution 

Design and build a unified streaming player platform that provides:

Consistent playback experiences across all supported devices

Best-in-class performance and startup times

Scalable integration across multiple brands

Advertising and monetization capabilities

Modern accessibility and user experience standar

Job Description

What you’ll bring: Strong focus onfrontend development and provenexpertise in building video streaming and OTT applications. Experienced in Android application development usingKotlin,Android SDK, Android Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, andCompose, with a solid understanding of streaming technologies, advertising platforms, video analytics, and modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities:

Writing andmaintaining efficient code for software components, adhering to best practices in development

Supporting the design and development of new software applications aligned with business objectives

Implementing testing frameworks for software validation, including unit and integration tests, to ensure quality

Documenting the software development process, including design and deployment procedures, tofacilitate knowledge sharing

Analyzing software integration needs and planning system architecture to meet technical specifications

Reviewing current practices and technical literature to inform project solutions and applying engineering methodologies

Working with Quality Assurance to ensure applications meet technical requirements and fit specifications

Troubleshooting software issues, providing resolutions to enhance application performance and user satisfaction

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular,consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variableschedule(s) as necessary.
