As a Market Manager in Las Vegas, you will grow a segment of the portfolio by managing accounts directly and helping deepen strategic partnerships. You will analyze business and operational performance to identify opportunities for optimization, support service delivery for active accounts, and communicate technical and operational impacts as needed. This role is ideal for someone who is energized by relationship-building, commercial conversations, data-driven decision-making, and helping partners grow in a dynamic market.Â
In this role, you will:Â
Build strong relationships with partner account teams, including key buyers and decision-makersÂ
Visit partners in-person in Vegas, as well as travel to partners in Reno and Atlantic City (monthly/quarterly depending on business need)
Assist in creating opportunities such as progress meetings and exploratory discussions to help grow partner accountsÂ
Understand and communicate partner business issues through the appropriate internal channelsÂ
Recommend products, services, and insights that meet partner needsÂ
Develop a strong understanding of how the department operates and how it fits into the larger organizationÂ
Build awareness of the policies, practices, trends, and competitor information that impact the organization and its partnersÂ
Develop a strong understanding of the financial impact of decisions and solutions on the organization and its partnersÂ
Document components of business cases for change at the direction of more senior colleagues, as neededÂ
Build and maintain a working knowledge of financial data and the company’s standard contract terms and conditions by reading product literature, contracts, and learning from peersÂ
Learn when to partner with legal resources to modify or adjust standard contract termsÂ
Learn the contract negotiation process and how to complete contractual arrangementsÂ
Exchange nuanced information to build consensus and move work forwardÂ
Handle key objections effectively and proactively seek help from a manager when needed to address differences and ensure agreements among all partiesÂ
Conduct straightforward cost, benefit, and risk analyses of possible solutions and the implications of not reaching agreementÂ
Identify and actively engage stakeholders in decision-making and strategies that benefit both the account and the organizationÂ
Close deals effectively while supporting broader account and portfolio goalsÂ
Develop understanding of standard offerings and major areas of expertiseÂ
Build a working knowledge of products, technologies, and offerings within scope of responsibilityÂ
Develop an understanding of competitors’ standard products and servicesÂ
Demonstrate thoughtful application of products, technologies, and offerings to partner accountsÂ
Build and maintain ongoing business relationships with colleagues and external partnersÂ
Strategically build relationships to support total portfolio and broader organization needsÂ
Develop understanding of the partner’s industry and competitive marketÂ
Attend partner meetings to understand needs and expectationsÂ
Learn the metrics used to assess the performance of products, services, and solutions against partner needs and expectationsÂ
Develop key value proposition statements, case studies, and proof points to demonstrate the value of the company’s products, services, and solutionsÂ
Experience and qualifications:Â
You have 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 0–2 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degreeÂ
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experienceÂ
You are proficient in English and, where applicable, the local language of the marketÂ
You are an effective communicator who can build trust and influence through clear, confident conversationsÂ
You have proficiency in sales techniques and a consultative approach to partner conversationsÂ
You bring skills in portfolio management, relationship management, upselling, and cross-sellingÂ
You are comfortable using business and operational performance insights to identify opportunities and recommend solutionsÂ
You are interested in developing your commercial, contractual, and market expertise in a fast-paced environmentÂ
