Travel Plaza Cashier

Job Description:

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the face of our retail experience, responsible for efficiently processing customer transactions, maintaining a clean and organized sales area, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced travel plaza environment.

Job Responsibilities

* Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
* Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions.
* Scan and bag merchandise efficiently.
* Handle cash and make correct change.
* Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves and rotating products as needed.
* Assist with other retail duties such as cleaning, merchandising, and inventory checks.
* Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and services.
* Resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and age-restricted sales.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

Job Qualifications

* Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Shift:

Part Time; 3rd Shift
