Travel Plaza Cashier

Job Description:

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the face of our company, providing excellent customer service, accurately processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for travelers.

Job Responsibilities

* Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, including fuel, convenience store items, and food service products.
* Accurately operate a cash register, handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions, and provide correct change.
* Process fuel pump authorizations and address customer inquiries regarding fuel.
* Maintain a clean and organized sales area, including shelves, counters, and food service stations.
* Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently, escalating issues to management when necessary.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, sanitation, and cash handling.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
* Previous experience in retail, customer service, or cash handling is a plus.
* Ability to accurately handle cash transactions and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
* Basic math skills are essential.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
