Role Overview

As a Radiographer, you will perform radiologic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist to evaluate pathological conditions as ordered by physicians. Your expertise in determining appropriate techniques, positioning, and safety practices will directly impact patient care. This role is essential in providing critical diagnostic information that guides treatment decisions.

What You Will Do

• Perform radiologic procedures to evaluate pathological entities as ordered by physicians.
• Utilize independent judgment to determine appropriate radiographic techniques and positioning.
• Ensure adherence to safety practices and department protocols during procedures.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostic imaging.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible (must obtain registry within 12 months of hire).
• Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).
• Must maintain required hours of continued education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a healthcare or radiologic setting.
• Familiarity with advanced radiographic techniques and equipment.
