Field Sales Rep – Electrical Markets Division

Job Description:

The person hired for the position of Field Sales Rep will be responsible for sales growth of core platforms, Cable Accessary and Vinyl Tapes in our major market segments, Commercial and Industrial (C&I) and Power Utility in Electrical Markets. 

The main Roles and Responsibility will be 

• Delivering sales growth by aligning global and area business strategies and executing marketing programs/campaigns and NPI launching

• Driving new sales opportunities creation and opportunity pipeline management to deliver Sales Performance Target ($Closed Won)

• Contributing to Korea Business Transition to focus on Core Business Growth with Cable Accessary and Vinyl Tapes product portfolio in Commercial and Industrial and Power Utility segments

• Accelerating share gain to win in major market segments

• Executing marketing campaign to promote core products and gathering market insights and sharing product/application knowledge with area/global team.

• Running Channel Management by running CIP and MDF programs in C&I SD

• The Electrical Markets Division is committed to empowering customers to deliver efficient, reliable, and sustainable energy.  The position will report to Country Division Sales Leader in Korea.

You will make an impact by:

• Driving Cable accessary and Vinyl Tapes sales growth to contribute Korea business transition plan

• Developing new opportunities by key C&I project spec-in at end users, electrical contractors, and electrical channel partners.

• Enhancing Channel Partners capability by continued training programs and performing product demo and training for key end users and electrical installers.

• Implementing aggressive share gain by improved awareness and go-to materials

• Penetrating and winning our specification works in current major C&I subsegment in Semicon plants, Renewable plants, Shipbuilding and Data Centers,

• Overcoming current business challenges, low penetration of cable accessary portfolio by new product introductions, core technology/product demo and training, channel partner education/ enhancement and etc.

• Working closely with Area team, and country AE team to drive key account penetration via material spec-in

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)

• 5 years of sales experience required

• Electrical market working experience and skills in Sales and/or Marketing preferred

• Good English Communication Skills in speaking, reading, and writing

• Proactive mindset to drive strategies and tactics and to solve daily challenges and problems

• Mandatary domestic travelling to visit customers (Key accounts, Channel Partners, Electrical contractors) to develop business opportunities

• Excellent and clear communication skills with cross-functional teams in local/area/global

• Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master’s degree of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited university or possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in a master’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or Strategy

• Ability to identify and understand customer pain points and translating into new business/marketing ideas (Electrical Market/Industry knowledge and experience will be preferred.)

• Capability to use multiple sources of market insights to develop strategy and implementation plans

• Experience working with global and/or area stakes holders and cross functional teams

• Understanding of diverse cultures and people in area/global team
