On behalf of our client, a global industry leader in beauty, we are looking for a talented and results-driven Advocacy & Influence Lead to drive and implement the organization’s social advocacy, influencer marketing, and consumer advocacy strategy. The role will be dedicated to managing the account as part of maternity leave coverage through Ogilvy.
Reporting to the CDO with a dotted line to the Head of A&I at corporate level, the successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening brand engagement, cultural relevance, and influencer partnerships, while ensuring full alignment with both local and global A&I frameworks.
This role will oversee local activation calendar and build lasting relationships with priority influencers.
A key part of the position involves coordinating and activating brand events, including O+O advocacy activations, retailer events, ensuring seamless integration between global strategic direction and local market execution.
The role also leads the development of Pro Community Management end to end, B2B social campaigns, grows the online Pro community, and takes responsibility for upskilling both professional influencers and internal field teams.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in accelerating influence performance, optimizing ROI, and driving innovative advocacy initiatives across the division.
Monthly Advocacy reporting, spend efficiency management, and consistent delivery against KPIs will be central to measuring success.
The ideal candidate brings solid expertise in A&I, project management, and community management, combined with strong analytical capabilities, a creative mindset, and proficiency in tools that measure Influencer Marketing success.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Advocacy & Influence, influencer marketing, digital marketing, or social media strategy.
- Strong understanding of influencer ecosystems, community engagement, and social advocacy.
- Experience in project management and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into strategic actions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with digital marketing and reporting tools such as Traackr, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Power BI, or similar platforms is considered a strong advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Advocacy & Influence strategy for the division, ensuring alignment with global frameworks, KPIs, and best practices.
- Drive influencer marketing, creator loyalty, and consumer advocacy initiatives to strengthen engagement, brand love, and cultural relevance.
- Build and manage relationships with professional influencers, online communities, and key stakeholders across marketing, retail, education, and sales teams.
- Lead advocacy campaigns, multidivisional projects, and A&I initiatives while fostering collaboration across local and European teams.
- Monitor campaign performance, reporting, ROI, and spend efficiency, transforming insights into actionable recommendations and growth opportunities.
- Champion the use of A&I tools, trend monitoring, and innovative solutions to accelerate division performance.
- Support the development and upskilling of teams and business partners, while mentoring A&I Brand Leads and contributing to a culture of continuous learning.
