BASIC PURPOSEThe primary function of this position is to drive a tractor trailer to move loaded trailers containing various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, dry goods, equipment and supply) and empty trailers to and from remote dispatch sites. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
May also be called upon to perform duties of Backhaul Driver or Delivery Driver.

Main Ingredients of the JobĀ Ā
- Safely drive trucks to and from remote dispatch sites

- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions requiredĀ

What You Bring to the TableĀ
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*Ā
- Must be at least 21 years of ageĀ
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualificationsĀ
- 6 months commercial driving experience requiredĀ
- Doubles endorsement required AND minimum 6 months driving with doubles endorsements preferredĀ
- Must be comfortable working overnightĀ
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locationsĀ
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.Ā

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law(for example: state minimum wage thresholds).Ā The expected base rate for this role is between $25 and $27.29.āĀ This role may also receive overtime compensation and shift differential where applicable.
