About the job

A problem isnโ€™t truly solved until itโ€™s solved for all. Thatโ€™s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, youโ€™ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Youโ€™ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Privacy, Safety and Security (PSS) team works to protect, respect, and defend our users, Googlers, and the internet. Our mission is to keep users safe at scale. We help teams across Google build and maintain safe products while powering innovation that builds a safer future for everyone.

Within PSS, Technical Risk Management (TRM) is comprised of several business pillars with a shared goal of driving compliance and risk reduction for Google. A key component of this is Technical Risk Engineering, which provides technical solutions to enable compliance, risk management, privacy, and data governance at scale using modern frameworks that unlock velocity and innovation.

The TRM GTM team serves as the critical first-line sales and strategic orchestration layer for the TRM platform and product portfolio. As a member of the GTM team, you will drive impact across several core focus areas like portfolio selling and acquisition, strategic business insights and value expansion, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) data onboarding and consulting, customer engagement and success, adoption and change management.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Googleโ€™s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Googleโ€™s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
