The following teaching needs are required:

ECE110 – Language & Literacy

ECE156 – Supporting Infants & Toddlers

ECE115 – Supporting Preschool Children

ECE135 – Childhood Development II

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate Degree in related field required
• Active RCEC Registration required
• Active membership in good standing in a professional association preferred
• Minimum 3 – 5 years working in the field of Early Childhood Education or related field
• Minimum 1 – 2 years of teaching experience, or equivalent preferred  
• Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary setting
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of educational technologies; experience in the development and delivery of blended and online curriculum an asset
• Highly effective communication and organizational skills
• Previous experience teaching in a post-secondary setting in asset
• Must be available to teach during daytime hours
• Must be able to reliably commute to the College Drive Campus in North Bay, ON required

Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver and evaluate effective learning related to the course
• Work closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environment
• Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities
