We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Specialist! The Marketing Specialist supports the FocusPoint Solutions team by coordinating, developing, and producing advisor-facing and B2B marketing materials that are clear, brand-aligned, compliant-ready, and easy to use. This role helps translate marketing strategy into practical content, creative assets, campaign resources, and program materials that support advisor growth, business development, onboarding, events, digital marketing, and sales enablement in a fast-moving, regulated financial services environment.

This is a Remote position.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions

Marketing Content Development and Production

  • Create, edit, and update advisor-facing and B2B marketing materials, including flyers, one-sheets, worksheets, checklists, campaign kits, presentations, social posts, email copy, website content, and sales enablement resources.

  • Translate marketing strategy, campaign direction, and stakeholder input into clear, practical materials that support advisor growth, business development, onboarding, events, webinars, and lead generation.

  • Draft and refine content for advisor bios, firm stories, value propositions, launch communications, landing pages, resource descriptions, calls to action, and follow-up communications.

  • Review materials for clarity, tone, grammar, formatting, brand alignment, content completeness, and audience relevance before stakeholder or compliance review.

  • Maintain consistency across FocusPoint Solutions messaging, Wealth Enhancement brand standards, advisor-specific branding, and approved language.

  • Partner with design and digital marketing resources to ensure content is accurate, design-ready, properly formatted, and aligned with the intended use of each deliverable.

  • Repurpose approved content into scalable templates, toolkits, copy blocks, campaign assets, and reusable resources.

Creative Asset and Digital Marketing Support

  • Develop and update templated creative assets, including social graphics, email graphics, event and webinar visuals, simple web graphics, PDFs, presentation materials, and advisor-facing digital resources.

  • Resize, adapt, format, and version creative assets across FocusPoint Solutions, Wealth Enhancement, and advisor-specific brands using approved templates and brand standards.

  • Format PowerPoint presentations, advisor decks, webinar slides, and sales materials for readability, consistency, and polished delivery.

  • Support basic website and CMS updates, including text edits, image replacement, downloadable resource updates, metadata direction, page QA, and web-ready content formatting.

  • Prepare proofs, PDFs, image exports, working drafts, and compliance-ready layouts for review and approval.

  • Check final materials for visual consistency, formatting accuracy, image quality, broken links, typographical errors, disclosures, and file references.

  • Maintain organized working files, final assets, source files, templates, and reusable creative resources according to team standards.

Project Coordination, Collaboration, and Compliance Support

  • Coordinate marketing projects from intake through final delivery by organizing source materials, confirming deliverables, tracking timelines, managing revisions, and supporting follow-through.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Designer, sales, business development, product, operations, compliance, digital enablement, SEO, CRM/automation, advisors, vendors, and other internal stakeholders.

  • Clarify project needs by gathering missing inputs, documenting open questions, identifying dependencies, and communicating next steps.

  • Facilitate review cycles by consolidating comments, identifying conflicting feedback, tracking changes, and helping move materials toward approval.

  • Prepare content and supporting materials for compliance review, including intended use, audience details, disclosures, substantiation notes, and clean review-ready drafts.

  • Incorporate stakeholder, leadership, and compliance feedback accurately while preserving messaging clarity, brand consistency, and approved language.

  • Provide visibility into project status, blockers, review timing, content needs, and items requiring Marketing Manager review.

Program Scalability, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement

  • Help build and maintain scalable libraries of Advisor Marketing Program resources, B2B marketing materials, campaign content, sales enablement tools, approved messaging, templates, and copy frameworks.

  • Turn recurring marketing requests into standardized resources, repeatable processes, and reusable content assets that improve efficiency and consistency.

  • Maintain content calendars, campaign timelines, project trackers, resource libraries, approved copy blocks, and project documentation.

  • Support marketing performance tracking by gathering and organizing information related to campaign activity, content usage, advisor engagement, event participation, email performance, and program adoption.

  • Assist with campaign recaps, content performance summaries, advisor resource usage reports, event follow-up summaries, and marketing updates for leadership or internal stakeholders.

  • Use stakeholder feedback, advisor questions, campaign results, and recurring requests to recommend improvements to content, resources, and workflows.

  • Support a team culture focused on quality, organization, responsiveness, scalability, and a strong advisor experience.

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, content development, design production, creative services, or a related role.

  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, professional services, or another compliance-sensitive industry preferred.

  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and content development skills, with the ability to translate strategy, stakeholder input, and rough concepts into polished advisor-facing and B2B marketing materials.

  • Experience creating or supporting emails, landing pages, websites, social media content, collateral, presentations, event/webinar materials, and sales enablement resources.

  • Strong design production skills, including layout, formatting, basic typography, image sizing, file exports, visual consistency, and brand alignment.

  • Excellent attention to detail, including accuracy of names, titles, credentials, dates, links, disclosures, formatting, and approved language.

  • Ability to organize source materials, manage feedback, prepare content for review, incorporate stakeholder and compliance edits, and support projects through completion.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across marketing, design, web, sales, product, operations, compliance, digital enablement, advisors, and vendors.

  • Working knowledge of brand voice, messaging consistency, audience-specific communication, content calendars, project files, templates, and resource libraries.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Wrike, Canva, WordPress or other CMS platforms, Salesforce, Account Engagement, email marketing platforms, and basic SEO preferred.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, or similar asset creation software.

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state, pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as this level is $63,750 - $97,600. However, the base salary range bolded above ($80,000 to $90,000) is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
