Position Summary

As aDietary Aide, you will support the dietary team in meal preparation and service while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment. Your role is essential in ensuring residents receive quality meals that meet their dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and servemeal trays based on dietary guidelines
• Assist withmeal service and food preparation
• Clear trays, wash dishes, and operate thedishwasher
• Monitor and recorddishwasher temperature and sanitation levels
• Prepare snacks and nourishments for residents
• Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen and dining areas
• Clean work surfaces, refrigerators, and equipment
• Store food and supplies safely and properly
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout shift
• Follow allfood safety and infection control procedures
• Support the cook and dietary supervisor as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must obtain and maintain aFood Handler’s Certification
• Experience in ahealthcare or food service setting preferred
• Ability to learn food service routines quickly
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
