Application Support SRE

Responsibilities

Production Support & Reliability

• Provide hands-on support for enterprise applications in production
• Troubleshoot issues acrossapplication and infrastructure layers
• Drive incident triage and resolution
• Ensure systems remain stable, available, and supportable

On-Call & Incident Response

• Participate in a24/7 on-call rotation
• Respond to and resolve production incidents
• Coordinate with engineering teams during high-severity issues
• Contribute to post-incident reviews

Deployments & Operational Execution

• Execute deployments usingAnsible and CI/CD pipelines
• UseGit workflows for release management and rollback
• Support validation and troubleshooting of deployment issues
• Improve deployment reliability and processes

Monitoring, Metrics & Observability

• Monitor systems using:
  • Splunk or Google Analytics
  • CloudWatch
  • Synthetic monitoring tools
• Analyze logs, metrics, and alerts to diagnose issues
• Contribute to dashboards and operational visibility

Application Lifecycle & Maintenance

• Manage installation, patching, and upgrades ofthird-party applications
• Maintain systems aligned withN‑1 patching standards
• Perform ongoing maintenance and health checks

Automation (Execution-Focused)

• Use and maintain existingAnsible automation and scripts
• Improve operational processes through targeted automation

Collaboration

• Work with Cloud Engineering, Development, and Security teams
• Support onboarding of new applications into production
• Maintain documentation and runbooks

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience inApplication Support, SRE, or Systems Administration
• Experience supportingproduction applications in AWS
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Deployments (Ansible / CI-CD)
  • Git workflows
• Experience with:
  • Monitoring tools (Splunk or Google Analytics, CloudWatch)
  • Synthetic monitoring
• Experience participating in24/7 on-call rotations
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience withpatching and lifecycle management (N‑1)
