Position Highlights

SUMMARY:

Monday through Friday 12:00pm - 5:30pm. The Therapy Aide supports our PT, OT and ST team in providing quality care to our patients and wellness members. This role helps keep the rehab and wellness department running smoothly by assisting with patient flow, preparing treatment areas, maintaining equipment, and creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Requires a high school diploma or a minimum of one month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience with use of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assists PT, OT and ST with patient setup and treatment area preparation.Schedules patient appointments and assist with registration, including gathering and verifying basic patient information.Answers phones, greet patients and members, and provide front desk support as needed.Maintain organization and cleanliness of therapy and fitness areas.Stock supplies and assist with general clinic operationsCommunicate effectively with team members to support daily operations.Support wellness center members with dues, equipment orientation and general assistance.
