Sterling Heights Ford is looking for a dependableDealer Trade Driver to support our growing inventory and dealership operations. If you enjoy driving, take pride in operating vehicles safely, and want an opportunity to be part of a high-volume Ford dealership, we'd love to meet you.

As a member of theLithia & Driveway team, you'll play an important role in transporting vehicles between dealerships while helping ensure inventory is where it needs to be. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the road, values flexibility, and wants to get their foot in the door with one of the largest automotive retailers in North America.

• Hourly Rate:$17.00/hour
• Schedule:On-call/Rotating Days
• Employment Type:Part-Time
• Reports to:Lot Operations Manager
• Position requires frequent off-site travel

What You'll Do

As a Dealer Trade Driver, you'll safely transport vehicles between dealerships and assist with inventory transfers while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

• Transport vehicles between dealerships and designated locations.
• Verify vehicle identification numbers (VINs) and stock numbers against transfer paperwork.
• Ensure all required documents accompany each vehicle transfer.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and damage prior to departure.
• Confirm keys, owner's manuals, wheel locks, and other vehicle accessories are included before transport.
• Communicate effectively with dealership staff and customers throughout the transfer process.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
• Experience driving both automatic and manual transmissions is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Positive attitude with a customer-service mindset.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
