In close collaboration with Human Capital Business Partners, managers, physicians, lawyers, unions, insurers, and workers’ compensation boards, the Health and Wellness Advisor acts as a specialist and advisor in disability management. The incumbent is also responsible for managing occupational injury claims for the sites under their responsibility.

How you will contribute to collective success:
- Manage health and wellness programs, including the integrated management of occupational injury claims, disability cases, return-to-work plans, and workplace accommodations for designated Agropur sites.
- Coordinate interventions and activities with various partners and stakeholders involved in each case.
- Provide recommendations to support the continuous improvement of business processes and practices related to disability management, as well as the use of absence management technology tools.
- Advise stakeholders on the most effective management strategies within the framework of the organization's “Safe and Timely Return-to-Work” program.
- Provide coaching and support to other members of the Health and Wellness team.
- Ensure the disability management program is applied consistently by insurers, Human Capital teams, managers, unions, and external disability management service providers.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with established processes to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure the quality and relevance of training content related to disability management for internal partners, including Human Capital Business Partners, site managers, and supervisors.
The type of player who fits in well with the team:
- University degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Relations, Human Resources, or a related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in disability management and workplace injury claims management.
- Bilingualism in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Expertise in disability management best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Consulting mindset with strong influencing skills.
- Solution-oriented approach.
