A family in Oakland, CA 94606 is seeking a reliable, part-time nanny to provide gentle, active in-home care for their infant son, who has a rare genetic variation making him susceptible to seizures and developmental plateaus or regressions. 

Schedule:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Monday and Friday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Total: 10 hours per week

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home 
• Family has 1 pet dog

Responsibilities:

• Providing tailored infant care and personal care support
• Actively engaging the child through reading, play, and age-appropriate developmental support
• Comfortably following established seizure precautions and care plans
• Changing diapers and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment

Requirements:

Prior experience working with infants

• Must be able to reliably commute
• CPR/First Aid certification

Preferred:

• Experience with special needs, disabilities, or specific medical considerations

Compensation:

• $25 - $35 per hour
