Clinical Coordinators are ultimately responsible for the coordination of all clinical services, to include but not limited to: Person-Centered Plans, medical appointments, assessments and consultations, new admissions, Behavioral Support Services, and quality of data collection contained in clinical record. Clinical Coordinators are responsible for employee training of all clinical services, and in the development and reviewing of all protocols. Clinical Coordinators provide direct supervision to the Residential Coordinators. Clinical Coordinators maintain 24/7 responsibility for assigned homes. Clinical Coordinators work as a member of the Leadership Team to insure quality of services. All services are to be provided in a manner consistent with Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas values, mission, principles and in accordance their policies, procedures, and practices as well as state licensing standards. Clinical Coordinators report directly to the Assistant Director.
TheResidentialCoordinatorreports to the Assistant Director,NVIDDandisresponsibleforthe daily health,safety,andwell-beingof individuals receivingservices, safety oftheir living environmentsandthe recruitment,scheduling,training andsupervisionof thestaffproviding directsupport services.Allservicesare to be provided inamannerconsistentwith VolunteersforAmericaChesapeakevalues, mission,principles and inaccordance withtheir policies,and practicesaswell asstatelicensingstandards.Residential programsites operate 24hoursaday,7daysaweek,365daysa year.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field, and at least one year of experience working with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Must be able to work a 40 hour weekly flex schedule in an effort to meet the demands of the individuals in the home.
- Participate in weekend on-callrotation.
