Location: Bridgwater

Pay Rate: £17.15 per hour

Shifts Available: Days & Nights Available (8am - 8pm / 8pm - 8am)

What you’ll do 

We are looking for amotivated, friendly and chatty care/support worker to provide high-quality care and companionship to a gentleman who lives at home with his daughter.

This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about supporting individuals to live as independently and positively as possible.

The role includes:

• Providing12-hour daytime support and wake night support

• Providing companionship, conversation and reassurance

• Supporting withmedication

• Assisting withpersonal care

• Providingtracheostomy (trachy) care

• Promoting and encouragingindependence

• Supporting him to maintain his social life and enjoy outings

• Accompanying him when spending time with friends and getting out into the community

• Helping with somelight household tasks

What you’ll need:

• We're looking for someone who isreliable, caring, motivated and social.

  You should enjoy building a genuine rapport with the person you support and be able to encourage him to make his own choices and remain as independent as possible.

  Experience withtracheostomy care and complex care would bedesirable, along with a willingness to work as part of a supportive team.

• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
