Why is this role important?

Winter 2027 Work Term

Term Length: 4 months

Term Start: January 6, 2027

Term End: April 16, 2027

The pay range for the co-opstudent role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academiclevel, and the specific skillsetrequired for the role. 

 

Loblaw has adopted the followinghybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleaguescan work remotely up to1 day a week, while spending the other4 days in the office (to bedetermined by each business unit).

The impactyou’ll make: 

As an Associate Product Manager on our eCommerce team,you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside design and engineering experts to develop and launch AI-powered features. Your work will directly enhancethe customer experience across our largest digital platforms, including Online Grocery, Shoppers Drug Mart, and Joe Fresh. Ifyou’re passionate about the intersection of user experience, technology, business, and Artificial Intelligence, this is where you belong 

 

What You'll Do: 
 

  • Work with Product Designers and Engineeringto help shape the upcoming sprints and largerproduct roadmap  

  • Support product backlog - including daily prioritization, grooming, writing user stories andhelpingkeep the dev team unblocked  

  • Assist in product discovery tovalidatenew ideas and start framing new features andtheir prioritization  

  • Use analytics to make key product decisions   

  • Participate in collecting feedback from users and translating these findings into productideas

  • You are obsessed withtesting and experimentation is a core pillar of how you approach product development – aka youaren’t happy unlessyou’ve learned something after shipping 

  • You’ve got a growth mindset – you knowthere’s always a better way to do things and are willing to disrupt yourself or the status quo 

 

What You'll Need: 
 

  • Experience working closely with Engineering, Data Science & other business functions. 

  • Some experience in product management / software development 

  • Understanding of lean startup 

  • Understanding of agile (scrum/kanban) 

  • Understanding of Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics 

  • Ability to work independently and sift through ambiguity 

  • Strong attention to detail and project management skill
