The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a growing outsourcing and offshore staffing provider seeking an experiencedBusiness Development Manager to drive new client growth across Australia.
This is a true new-business role for someone who understands how to selloutsourcing, BPO, offshore staffing, recruitment, or service-based workforce solutions. You’ll be trusted to build your own pipeline, manage the full sales cycle, and win new clients across a range of industries.
The business provides flexible offshore staffing solutions across areas such as development, accounting, estimating, call centre support, administration, and other specialist roles.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be responsible for identifying and winning new client accounts. This includes prospecting, networking, qualifying opportunities, running discovery conversations, preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
You’ll work with business owners, senior leaders, and decision-makers to understand their resourcing challenges and positionoffshore staffing and talent solutions as practical, commercially valuable options.
You’ll also collaborate with internal delivery and recruitment teams to ensure new clients are handed over smoothly once the deal is closed, with a clear understanding of role requirements, hiring needs, and service expectations.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a self-sufficient BDM who can create opportunities rather than wait for them.
You’ll need to bring previous experience sellingBPO, outsourcing, offshore staffing, recruitment services, labour hire, RPO, IT services, managed services, or another consultative service-based solution.
You should be comfortable working across different industries, adapting your sales approach, and speaking confidently with stakeholders ranging from SME owners through to senior executives.
A background inrecruitment or staffing sales would be highly valuable, particularly if you’ve sold workforce solutions, built client accounts, or worked closely with delivery / talent teams to convert hiring needs into commercial opportunities.
What You’ll Bring
3+ years of business development experience
A proven track record of generating leads and closing new business
Experience sellingoutsourcing, offshore staffing, BPO, recruitment, labour hire, RPO, IT services, or similar solutions
Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Confidence managing the full sales cycle independently
Ability to understand client hiring, workforce, or resourcing needs and translate them into tailored commercial solutions
A proactive, flexible, and commercially driven approach
Full Australian working rights
Location & Package
This is a Sydney-based role with a hybrid working arrangement.
You’ll be expected to work from the office at least three days per week, with flexibility around client meetings and business development activity.
A competitive base salary is on offer, depending on experience.
