Short-Form Video Creator (20-38,5h, on-site or remote)

What you’ll do

You’ll be responsible for editing high-performing short-form content and actively contributing your own content ideas. You’ll work with our team and Christoph (influencer), but you’re not just executing — you’re helping shape what gets made.

If you are able to travel to the office, you will also record on-site with Christoph

1) Editing (speed + retention)

• Edit short-form videos in a fast, engaging style (meme + educational + storytelling).

• Strong pacing: hooks, pattern interrupts, captions/subtitles, sound design, punchlines.

• Optimize for retention and rewatchability, not cinematic quality.

• Follow proven formats and push them further.

2) Ideation (your own ideas matter)

• Proactively bring your own content ideas, hooks, and formats — not just execute briefs.

• Spot trends early and adapt them to our brand.

• Think in formats, not one-offs (repeatable concepts that scale).

• Contribute to improving what we produce, not just how it’s edited.

3) Content repurposing

• Turn long-form footage into multiple short-form videos.

• Reuse and refresh existing footage into new formats.

• Identify strong moments and extract them into standalone clips.

4) Platform optimization

• Adapt edits to platform-specific formats (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok).

• Implement subtitles, timing, and structure tailored to each platform.

• Support basic title/caption suggestions if needed.

5) Iteration & performance awareness

• Understand what performs (retention, watch time, shares).

• Adjust editing style and ideas based on results.

• Continuously improve both output quality and content direction.

Salary

For an employment contract, compensation will be based on the applicable collective agreement (KV)“Werbung & Marktkommunikation” (Vienna), with classification depending on qualifications and experience (part-time 20h/week pro-rated).
Willingness to overpay depending on experience, skill level, and output.

In short: €28,000 – €45,000 gross yearly (depending on qualification).

For freelance setups, compensation is agreed as hourly/day rate or per content piece (no KV minimums apply).

Must-have

• Airsoft / firearms / tactical content familiarity and Product Knowledge

• Proven experience editing + publishingshort-form content (TikTok/Reels/Shorts).

• Strong comedic timing / meme literacy / “hook-first” thinking.

• ExcellentEnglish (internal communication + captions/titles).
