Northwestern Medicineis seeking a Neuropsychologist (PsyD or PhD) join our growing Neurology department in Tinley Park, IL.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outpatient neuropsychological evaluations for adults (18+), including interviews, testing, reporting, and feedback
  • Assess patients referred within Northwestern Medicine for diverse neurological, psychiatric, and medical conditions
  • Evaluate neurocognitive symptoms and concerns
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across specialties for patient care
  • Provide consultation to physicians, providers, therapists, and staff
  • Supervise psychometrists, students, residents, and fellows
  • Communicate findings with clinicians and families as appropriate
  • Participate in ongoing education, meetings, and professional development activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with confidentiality policies
  • Exercise independent judgment in handling sensitive information
  • Contribute to program development and promote effective use of psychological services
  • Successful completion of a doctoral degree program in professional psychology, e.g. PhD, PsyD, granted from a training program accredited by the American Psychological Association.
  • Pre-doctoral internship accredited by the APA.
  • Postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology accredited by the Association of Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology resulting in eligibility for board certification by the American Board of Professional Psychology.
  • Equivalent accreditations will be considered (e.g. Canadian Psychological Association and British Psychological Society).
  • Preferred: Board certification by the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABCN).
