Senior Functional Consultant

Role Overview:

The Senior Functional Consultant provides advanced functional expertise within client delivery teams, leading complex analysis, solution design, and implementation activities across a defined workstream, functional area, or cross-process domain. The position translates business needs into practical, well-structured functional solutions that support client objectives and align with agreed delivery standards.

This position works closely with senior stakeholders to clarify complex or ambiguous requirements, manage functional scope, support decision-making, and ensure high-quality outcomes throughout the delivery lifecycle. It also provides guidance to junior consultants, supports issue resolution, and takes end-to-end ownership of assigned functional areas to drive consistent, reliable, and value-focused delivery.

Experience: 

• 5-8 years of experience in functional consulting, business analysis, or solution delivery within client-facing project environments.  

• Proven experience leading project activities and coordinating consultants, analysts, or cross-functional delivery teams.  

• Strong background in gathering, analyzing, and documenting detailed business requirements and process flows.  

• Experience translating business needs into functional solutions, system improvements, and implementation recommendations.  

• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and supporting projects through to successful completion.  

• Exposure to proposal support, business development activities, and broader consulting practice contribution is an advantage.  

• Experience working closely with technical teams across design, development, testing, and deployment activities. 

Educational Background: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
