Job Summary

The Metallurgy Engineer will be responsible formaterial selection, metallurgical analysis, and testing activities to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of materials and equipment used in the Oil & Gas / Refinery industry.

Job Responsibilities

• Performmaterial selection and metallurgical evaluation for equipment and components.

• Conductmaterial testing and failure analysis to identify defects and root causes.

• Review material specifications and ensure compliance withindustry standards and project requirements.

• Evaluatecorrosion resistance and mechanical properties of materials used in operations.

• Preparetechnical reports and recommendations based on testing results.

• Support inspection and engineering teams inmaterial integrity and reliability assessments.

• Ensure materials used in projects meetquality and safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum10 years of experience in metallurgy or material engineering within the Oil & Gas / Refinery industry.

• Strong knowledge ofmaterial selection, metallurgical testing, and failure analysis.

• Experience inmaterial inspection and testing procedures.

• Good analytical, technical reporting, and problem-solving skills.
