Job Description: Area Sales Manager – Value-Added Services (VAS)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-orientedArea Sales Manager to drive the3M Value-Added Services (VAS) business across theOEM dealership and distributor network in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Based inHyderabad, the incumbent will be responsible for expanding the AOEM dealership footprint, strengthening strategic relationships across dealership stakeholders, managing channel partners, and delivering sustainable growth through primary and secondary sales.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, acquire, and onboard newAOEM dealership accounts to expand market penetration and business opportunities.
Develop and manage strong relationships with dealership owners, management teams, and key decision-makers to drive long-term business partnerships.
Lead and support3M channel partners and distributors, ensuring effective market coverage and achievement of sales objectives.
Drivesecondary sales by increasing the adoption of 3M Value-Added Services across the assigned dealership network.
Achieveprimary billing targets and deliver business growth in line with organizational goals.
Execute territory development strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
ChampionNew Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives by successfully launching and driving adoption of new offerings within the territory.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities.
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales and business development initiatives.
Preferred Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise inB2B sales, account management, and business development.
Proven experience inOEM/dealership management andchannel partner/distributor handling.
Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive bothprimary and secondary sales while delivering business targets.
High level of execution excellence with a strong market development orientation.
Self-driven, analytical, and capable of managing a large territory with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience
8–12 years of sales experience, preferably in theautomotive aftermarket, OEM, auto accessories, lubricants, paints, adhesives, chemicals, or industrial products sectors.
Experience working with dealership ecosystems and channel sales models will be highly preferred.
