Position Title: Network Architect
Location: Philadelphia, PA

Job Description:-
The Voice Network Architect's primary responsibilities will be focused on :Â
• Voice Network architecture planning and designÂ
• Voice Network zoning and device placementÂ
• Voice Network devices (SBC, SRP, MGW)Â
• Performance and capacity management (trunks, interconnections, carrier management)Â
• Event and outage managementÂ
• Measurement, reporting, and CSIÂ
• Network Operations Center functional efficiencyÂ
Actively participate in engagement planning, execution, and reporting activities including:Â
• Researching new technologies, understanding existing processes, and referencing recognized service management frameworksÂ
• Interfacing with our clients to identify and understand potential risk areasÂ
• Contributing to the definition of final engagement scopeÂ
• Documenting meeting minutesÂ
• Analyzing documentation, process information, technical configurations, or other client provided information and documenting the results of analysisÂ
• Clearly articulating the status and results of work performed, both orally and in written form, to internal management and the clientÂ
• Operates effectively and with minimal supervision, if needed, within a team or independently.Â
• Pursues continuous professional development through internal/external training, certifications and/or continuing education.Â
• Shares knowledge gained through previous experience and engagements performed with other staff members.Â
• Performs special projects and related duties, as assigned.Â
• Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement to engagement methodology, department tools, and training curriculum.Â
• May informally coach and supervise individual staff.Â
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.Â
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.Â
Qualifications: (Please list all required qualifications) C
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related discipline with solid academic credentials.Â
• Minimum of 10 years of experience required.Â
• Broad Experience in Network Operations and Technology.Â
• Experience and/or certification in one or more areas:Â
• Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS-ENT, ITIL, TOGAF etcÂ
• Hands on technical experience (Routing, Switching)Â
• Vendor experience: Cisco, Juniper, CheckpointÂ
• Process experience: COBIT, ITIL, AgileÂ
• Routing ProtocolsÂ
• IT Experience in a large corporation.Â
• Large multi-function or multi-division IT projectsÂ
• Experience Working for large Telecommunications company a plusÂ
• Experience supporting multi-data center converged (data, voice, video) networksÂ
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)Â
• Ability to travel up to 25-35% annuallyÂ
• Exposure to internal audit, compliance or other internal control functions (including automation used in these functions) is a plus, but not requiredÂ
