Role overviewÂ
We are looking for a new Patient Administrator to join our Leicester site. This will be 40 hours over 5
days per week.Â
As you’d guess from the title this role involves carrying out different administrative duties and it’s aÂ
varied role – you could be booking patients into their appointments, making and answering phoneÂ
calls, sending and replying to emails, managing the post and sending letters or dealing withÂ
enquiries. Our clinics are busy so we’re looking for someone who loves working in a fast-pacedÂ
environment where every day is different.Â
We need someone who is incredibly customer focussed and enjoys meeting and talking to people –Â
the thought of eye surgery can be a daunting prospect for patients to deal with, so all our teamÂ
members need to be empathetic and friendly and able to put patients at ease.Â
What skills and experience do I need?Â
We’ll provide training so experience isn’t always needed, but the following things will beÂ
advantageous:Â
ď‚· Previous experience in a customer or patient facing roleÂ
ď‚· Experience in a busy administrative roleÂ
ď‚· A competent user of all Office 365 programmesÂ
ď‚· Tech savvy and comfortable working on new systems e.g. patient record systemsÂ
ď‚· A good phone mannerÂ
ď‚· An excellent grasp of the English language both verbally and in written formatÂ
ď‚· A good team player – happy to jump in and support others when requiredÂ
What we’re offeringÂ
ď‚· A salary of ÂŁÂ
ď‚· 25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysÂ
ď‚· A company pension schemeÂ
ď‚· Access to a range of benefits including free eye tests, discounted or free glasses, aÂ
free 24/7 well-being/counselling/advice service and a retail/technology discountÂ
scheme.Â
ď‚· An environment where your learning and development is supported through a rangeÂ
of various learning tools and courses.Â
ď‚· Working with a friendly multi-disciplinary team passionate about improving the livesÂ
of our patientsÂ
ď‚· A bright, spacious and modern working environment, built to the highest standardsÂ
