About the RoleÂ
We are looking for a hands-on Scrum Master / Agile Team Coach to support 3 teams and strengthen team dynamics, collaboration, and delivery effectiveness.Â
This role requires someone who brings a positive, steady, and confident presence to challenging situations. You should be comfortable coaching teams through conflict, resistance, and change while providing clear, direct, and respectful feedback.Â
The right candidate is pragmatic and emotionally intelligent, able to build trust quickly while maintaining a high bar for accountability and outcomes. You will be expected to actively improve how teams work together and ensure delivery continues to move forward.Â
You will actively leverage tools and AI to evolve how the role is performed—using them not only to streamline work, but to generate insights, challenge thinking, and enhance coaching, communication, and decision-making.Â
Â
What Success Looks LikeÂ
- Teams collaborate effectively and demonstrate stronger ownershipÂ
- Impediments are surfaced early and addressed quicklyÂ
- Team dynamics improve, with more direct and healthy communicationÂ
- Delivery becomes more consistent and predictableÂ
- Agile practices are applied pragmatically to improve outcomesÂ
- Stakeholders are informed, engaged, and confident in progressÂ
- Teams show increased maturity and self-managementÂ
- AI is used thoughtfully to improve insight, effectiveness, and overall team impactÂ
Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies with a focus on outcomes, not just completionÂ
- Coach teams toward greater ownership, accountability, and effectivenessÂ
- Identify and remove impediments while reinforcing team ownershipÂ
- Address negative behaviors directly and constructivelyÂ
- Partner with stakeholders to improve clarity, communication, and flow of workÂ
- Encourage practical experimentation with Agile and engineering practicesÂ
- Use AI and modern tools to enhance team effectiveness, insight, and decision-makingÂ
- Improve team predictability, quality, and continuous improvementÂ
- Ensure progress and value delivery are visible to stakeholdersÂ
- Contribute to a high-trust, collaborative, and accountable team environmentÂ
Â
Required QualificationsÂ
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar roleÂ
- Proven experience improving team dynamics, especially in low-accountability or high-friction environmentsÂ
- Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skillsÂ
- Ability to coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles and ways of workingÂ
- Experience supporting multiple teams or complex team environmentsÂ
- Demonstrated ability and curiosity in using AI to enhance thinking, coaching, or team effectivenessÂ
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceÂ
Â
Preferred QualificationsÂ
- Scrum certificationÂ
- Experience with scaled Agile frameworksÂ
- Advanced Agile certifications (PSM II, ICP-ATF, ICP-ACC)Â
- Experience with engineering or data-focused teamsÂ
- Familiarity with Lean-Agile metrics (flow, predictability, team health)Â
- Spanish or Portuguese speaking abilityÂ
- Experience partnering with leaders and supporting organizational changeÂ
Â
What We’re Looking ForÂ
- A leader who is positive, steady, and directÂ
- Someone who balances empathy with accountabilityÂ
- A coach who drives growth through clear expectations and behavior changeÂ
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and complex team environmentsÂ
- Able to influence without authority and build trust quicklyÂ
- Takes a pragmatic, outcome-driven approach (not overly process-focused)Â
- Uses AI as a thought partner and capability multiplier, not just a toolÂ
