NeoWork is currently hiring aMedia Buyer Operator-Analyst to join our team on a full-time contractor basis, supporting an AI-powered media and creative services client in the US.

This is not a standard media buyer role. The client runs paid media differently — measuring success through incremental new customer acquisition, first-party attribution, and business-level economics rather than platform-reported numbers. The right person operates at the intersection of hands-on execution and analytical thinking. They can launch and manage campaigns accurately, pull and interpret data from multiple sources, maintain a disciplined change log, and propose actions grounded in business impact — not just platform signals.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM PSTEngagement: Full-time, 40 hours per week

What You Will Do

  • Execute paid advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, and TikTok for e-commerce clients, including campaign setup, naming conventions, audience configuration, and ongoing management
  • Run brand-building, engagement, and non-purchase campaigns alongside direct-response campaigns, and understand the role each plays in the broader media strategy
  • Pull and analyze data from ad platforms, Shopify, and GA4 — including spreadsheet exports, pivot tables, and trend analysis
  • Maintain a daily change log capturing every meaningful account action, the rationale behind it, the result, and the learning
  • Analyze performance against incremental and first-party attribution frameworks, not platform-reported numbers
  • Propose data-backed changes with a clear business case, including expected upside, risk, and what to watch after implementation
  • Deliver structured daily and weekly updates covering account health, spend, audience mix, creative performance, and recommended next actions
  • Collaborate with client leadership and engineering on AI tooling being built around the media buying function
    • 3 or more years of direct hands-on experience running paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, and TikTok — execution experience, not just oversight
    • Fluency in incrementality thinking: you understand the difference between causal and associated revenue, know what acquisition MER means and how to use it, and can think in terms of marginal return rather than average efficiency
    • Strong analytical skills — you can export raw data, build pivot tables, identify trends, flag data quality issues, and explain what you found in business terms
    • Experience creating and excluding audiences across Meta and YouTube, including existing customers, website visitors, email lists, social engagers, and new or unknown audiences
    • Comfort running campaigns that are not optimized for direct purchase conversion — brand-building media, engagement campaigns, boosted posts, and YouTube subscriber campaigns
    • Strong documentation habits — you maintain change logs, write SOPs, and communicate updates in a structured format that others can act on
    • Excellent written English for async-first collaboration
    • Familiarity with GA4 and Shopify alongside ad platform data
    • AI-forward mindset — you actively use AI tools to speed up analysis and workflow without compromising client data security

Nice to Have

    • Background at a startup or performance-focused media agency
    • Direct experience managing paid media for DTC or e-commerce brands doing significant revenue volume
    • Hands-on experience with incrementality tests — geo holdouts, lift tests, conversion lift studies, or spend pulse tests

How Performance Is Measured

    • Maintain a blended ROAS at or above 3x across Meta, Google, and TikTok, measured against incremental and first-party attribution
    • Stay within 5% of planned daily and monthly spend across all active campaigns, with proactive flagging before overpacing occurs
    • Keep e-commerce CPA at or below $30 on Meta and $25 on TikTok during the first 90 days, improving 10 to 15% quarter over quarter as campaigns mature
    • Deliver structured daily and weekly updates that connect platform activity to business outcomes, proactively, before leadership has to ask
