Lead Software Engineer - Angular

We build the interfaces that keep AI in the company running and usable. That means internal admin dashboards, monitoring tools, and stats views that the rest of the org relies on to understand what the AI systems are doing. We also build a browser extension that brings library resources directly into AI tools, so people can use them without leaving their workflow. 

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments    

• Minimum 6+ years building production frontend systems 

• Strong experience with React, Svelte, or Angular 

• Track record of owning architecture, not just implementing designs 

• Some genuine comfort with backend concepts — you can read Python/API code, understand what's happening server-side, and know when the "fix" actually belongs on the other side of the wire 

• Comfort with ambiguity — you don't need a detailed spec to get moving 

• Use AI tools as part of your workflow (Copilot, agents, LLM-based tooling) — we want someone who thinkswith AI, not just about it

It would be great if you also had . . .    

• Worked on a browser extension before 

• Real experience in more than one of React / Svelte / Angular 

• Dabbled in Python/FastAPI enough to build a small service or fix a bug yourself 

• Built internal tools that made someone's on-call life noticeably easier.

What will you be doing in this role?   

• Architect and build internal-facing UIs — admin panels, monitoring dashboards, stats/analytics views — that make complex systems easy to understand and operate 

• Design and maintain our browser extension, which surfaces library resources inside AI tools 

• Own design decisions end-to-end — component architecture, state management, performance, the works 

• Venture into the backend when the problem calls for it — reading an API, tweaking an endpoint, or understanding the data model well enough to build the right UI on top of it 

• Take a vague problem, run with it, and come back with a solution 

• Review code, swap feedback, and help each other write better software 

• Write tests that catch real bugs, not just satisfy a coverage number

 About the Team     

The team is a mix of backend engineers, frontend engineers, and data scientists. We keep processes lean - we focus on what works and iterate when it doesn't, rather than rigidly adhering to a specific methodology.   

Hour of Work  

45 hours per week, permanent full-time position, IST time zone
