Senior Security Platform Engineer

We are looking for aSenior Security Platform Engineer to design, build, and run scalable security controls across cloud and infrastructure environments with a strong automation-first mindset. You will partner closely with engineering and security stakeholders to improve security outcomes while reducing delivery friction.

Responsibilities

• Design security controls that prevent, detect, and respond to threats across cloud and infrastructure
• Own security platforms end-to-end and ensure reliability, scalability, and measurable outcomes
• Implement cloud security controls across Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Build automation and security tooling to reduce risk and accelerate secure delivery
• Integrate security requirements into CI/CD pipelines, secrets handling, and dependency controls
• Develop Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code to standardize and enforce security baselines
• Improve monitoring and alerting to strengthen operational response and visibility
• Optimize workflows and integrations to reduce friction for engineering teams
• Partner with Security Operations and engineering teams to align controls with real-world threats
• Operate and continuously improve platform documentation and self-service capabilities
• Use AI-enabled tools to speed up analysis, automation, and operational efficiency

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in security engineering, platform engineering, or related roles
• Strong stakeholder management skills to partner with engineering teams and security functions
• Proven ownership skills for end-to-end security platforms and measurable outcomes
• Hands-on cloud skills across Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Strong Infrastructure security knowledge including secure systems design and hardening
• Solid networking fundamentals across common enterprise network patterns and controls
• Strong Python programming skills for security tooling and automation
• Strong CI/CD security knowledge including pipeline governance and supply chain controls
• Practical Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code skills for automated enforcement
• Operational excellence skills in monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows
• Clear communication skills for documentation, enablement, and self-service guidance
• English proficiency: B2 Upper-Intermediate
