Data Software Engineering Manager

We are looking for aData Software Engineering Manager to define the architecture and benchmarking approach for our data systems while guiding the team through data preparation and generation. This role combines hands-on technical contributions with leadership responsibilities, focusing on ClickHouse as the core area of expertise and driving the analysis of results to deliver clear, actionable conclusions for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define the overall architecture and benchmark approach for data systems
• Guide the team through data preparation and generation processes
• Contribute hands-on to development and technical implementation
• Work with ClickHouse as the main area of expertise
• Run realistic workloads to evaluate system performance
• Drive the analysis of benchmark results and outcomes
• Translate raw data and numbers into clear conclusions for stakeholders
• Lead and mentor team members on technical best practices

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Data Software Engineering
• Experience working with ClickHouse, Google Cloud Platform, and Python
• Expertise in performance tuning and data analysis
• Proficiency in Gen AI Assisted Development
• Experience leading technical teams and driving architectural decisions
• Background in benchmarking and workload analysis for data systems
• Advanced proficiency in English (C1+)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with StarRocks and MySQL
• Knowledge of BigQuery
• Understanding of Kubernetes and Prometheus
