Safety & Security Officer

Hourly Wage: $33.84

$1000 SIGN ON BONUS

This bonus is for new hires. Internal candidates, college programs, rehires and managers are excluded. Payments are in $500 increments at 30 and 90 days, paid on the following paycheck. If eligible, you must be actively employed and actively performing services for the Company on the applicable eligibility date at the time the payment is made.

Must have a valid Hawaii State Guard Card.

Valid driver's license may be required with at least one year of clean driving history.

Must be available for 3rd Shift (Overnight)

As a Safety & Security Officer, a typical day will include:  

• Patrols all areas of the property by foot or vehicle using specified equipment (e.g., flashlight, high visibility jacket). 

• Administers first aid/CPR toOwner/guests or associates asrequired.   

• EnsureOwner/guest and meeting rooms are secure andassistOwner/guests with room access.   

• Monitors Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV), perimeter alarmsystems, duress alarms, and fire life safetysystems. 

• Responds to the scene ofOwner/guest or associate accidents anddetermine if emergency aid isrequired.  

• DefusesOwner/guest or associatedisturbances/altercationsfollowing company policies and procedures. 

• Handles lost and found, logging and returning items. 

• Utilizes computer systems, prepares and reviews written documents accurately and completely; and answers the phone using proper telephone etiquette. 

• Oversee OSHA & FLS violations to mitigate risks throughout the property. 

Guest Experience and Company Standards 

• Welcome and greet guests andanticipate and address their needs. 

• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly. 

• Contribute to team goals. 

• Always follow company policies and safety procedures. 

To Become aSafety & Security Officer at MVW:  

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days. 

• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extendedperiod of time. 

• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to50lbs withoutassistance. 

• Position may require background and drug screeningcontingent on company policyin accordance with applicable legal requirements.  

• Specific job duties may differ by property, size of team, or facility.
