Duties:Explore relevant software products and solutions from an existing repertoire that can address business and technical needs. Assess software gaps, updates, and modifications between the customer and business expectations and the existing software product and solutions. Classify the requirements into applicable types. Anticipate the solution risks and issues during requirements gathering phase, inform relevant stakeholders, and recommend corrective steps. Contribute to the creation of user stories for software components, applications, and complex. Assist in creation of simple, modular, extensible, and functional design for the product or solution in adherence to the requirements. Evaluate trade-offs while designing across multiple software components in a product based on business requirements. Convert HLD to create detailed designs using mock screens, pseudo codes, and detailed functional logic of the modules for specific modules or components of a software product. Understand nuances of designing for disaster recovery. Design and create MVP to clarify requirements and design and uncover risks. Refine the MVP design for early defects and revised customer requirements. Select appropriate frameworks, platforms, and environments for software coding/configuration and scripting. Drive Implementation of telemetry features by determining data/metrics requirement within the domain. Support ad-hoc reviews of software code to ensure baseline mitigations for known risks. Create and configure minimalistic code for entire product or system and ensure the product is meeting business requirements, non-functional requirements, low-maintainability, high-availability, and high-scalability needs. Help with codes executed by team in line with specified technical and business requirements. Arrange requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements. Create scripts for automation of repetitive and routine tasks in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery), testing, or any other process across the domain. Translate customer requirements into test strategy. Determine the testing tools, domains, environments, and test types to be employed to achieve testing objectives. Select, introduce, and implement various tools for testing. Identify scope and method of testing for each requirement. Ensure that the test cases cover all the test scenarios for the software product or solution requirements. Drive execution of test cases to test the code and detect errors and defects for the entire product. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and root cause corrective action (RCCA) to identify the origin of software defects and performance gaps and prevent them from recurring. Track registered issues for the product or solution and prioritize them for resolution. Measure usability of the product or solution as per customer or business requirements after defect fixing and plugging test gaps. Analyze the issues and plan a series of steps which potentially includes reconfiguration, integration, removal, or addition of application components to enhance the software application's functionality, usability, and security. Define the metrics to be tracked for effective monitoring of the software application performance. Help with software application maintenance (corrective, adaptive, perfective) and re-engineering plans and activities.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology Management, or related area and 3 years of experience in software engineering or related area;ORBachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology Management, or related area and 5 years of post-bachelor’s progressively responsible experience in software engineering or related area.

Skills required:Experience building highly available, high-performance, redundant, and scalable distributed systems. Experience documenting high-level technical design documents. Experience developing low-level design documents. Experience designing and developing high performance microservices using Java, Golang, and Scala.  Experience implementing Rest APIs with low latency and high reliability in Golang. Experience building event driven systems using Kafka for increased throughput. Experience integrating Cassandra, DB2 databases and optimizing query performance for high-load scenarios. Experience optimizing performance of microservices using profiling, concurrency and caching in Golang.  Experience refactoring monolith services into scalable microservices in Golang. Experience integrating Elastic Search, Logstash, and Kibana for monitoring production systems. Experience deploying containerized services on Kubernetes. Experience performing code reviews in Golang, Java, and Scala to ensure best practices and coding standards.  Experience mentoring and guiding junior associates on engineering standards. Experience collaborating with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $185,587/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
