About the Role (Job Summary)

We are seeking a detail-orientedProduction Assistant to support high-volume pharmacy fulfillment and distribution operations. In this role, you will ensure accurate packing, labeling, and shipment of prescription orders while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience inwarehouse, distribution, or pharmacy operations who thrive in fast-paced, production-driven environments.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Accuratelypack and label prescription orders according to SOPs and shipping requirements
• Sort and stage orders by route, carrier, or delivery destination to support efficient distribution
• Receive and organize incoming materials (e.g., totes, vials, packaging supplies) and prepare outbound shipments
• Operatescanning and packaging equipment (barcode scanners, label printers, sortation systems)
• Verify order accuracy and ensure shipments meet quality and compliance standards
• Identify and escalate discrepancies such as missing items, damaged goods, or routing errors
• Maintain inventory of packing supplies and support workflow organization (staging, batch tracking, tote management)
• Follow allpharmacy regulations, safety guidelines, and hazardous material handling procedures

Basic Requirements (Must-Have Qualifications)

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in awarehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or production environment
• Experience handlinginventory, packing, shipping, or receiving processes
• Ability to operate basic equipment (e.g., barcode scanners, label printers, packing tools)
• Ability to work in afast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities
• Strong attention to detail with demonstrated experience in accuracy and quality control
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods during shifts

Preferred Skills / Experience

• Previous experience in apharmacy, healthcare, or regulated environment
• Familiarity withtemperature-sensitive or hazardous materials handling
• Experience usingwarehouse management systems (WMS) or shipping systems
• Certification or experience operating material handling equipment (pallet jack, forklift)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve order discrepancies independently
• Team-oriented mindset with experience supporting cross-functional workflows

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Primarilyon-site role in a warehouse or pharmacy production facility
• Requires standing/walking for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift)
• Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving items (10–30 lbs)
• Repetitive motions including bending, reaching, and handling small items
• Exposure to production environments with conveyors, moderate noise, and variable temperature zones
• Occasional schedule flexibility may be required, including weekends or extended hours
