The Litigation Support Assistant provides critical backend support to a growing legal team. This role is heavily detail-oriented and requires advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro. The primary focus of this position is reviewing and verifying PDF exhibits against investigator-created spreadsheets, ensuring all data is complete, accurate, and properly documented. The role also includes drafting standardized pleadings with minor case-specific modifications.Â
Responsibilities:Â
- Exhibit & Data Verification (Primary Responsibility)Â
- Review investigator-prepared PDF exhibits and cross-check each document against the corresponding Excel spreadsheet.Â
- Verify accuracy and completeness of data including:Â
- Email addressesÂ
- Physical addressesÂ
- WhatsApp numbersÂ
- Domain namesÂ
- Other identifying informationÂ
- Identify discrepancies, missing information, or inconsistencies between PDFs and spreadsheets.Â
- Ensure spreadsheets are fully populated and accurately reflect the supporting exhibits.Â
- Maintain organized, clearly labeled digital exhibit files.Â
- Use Adobe Acrobat Pro to:Â
- Review large PDF sets efficientlyÂ
- Apply redactions where necessaryÂ
- Bookmark and organize documentsÂ
- Combine and format exhibit packetsÂ
- Prepare clean, court-ready digital exhibit binders.Â
- Draft standardized pleadings that are approximately 90–93% template-based.Â
- Modify case-specific details such as names, dates, addresses, and factual summaries.Â
- Ensure formatting compliance with court requirements (margins, spacing, captions, etc.).Â
- Conduct final proofreading for accuracy and consistency before filing.Â
- At least 3 years relevant experience in litigation supportÂ
- Experience with cloud storage platforms such as Dropbox, OneDrive, or ShareFile.Â
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and advanced Microsoft Excel.Â
- Advanced Excel Skills – RequiredÂ
- Strong ability to review, audit, and validate spreadsheet data.Â
- Comfortable working with structured datasets containing contact information and digital identifiers.Â
- Highly detail-oriented when reconciling data across multiple sources.Â
- Adobe Acrobat Pro Expertise – RequiredÂ
- Confident handling large PDF files.Â
- Skilled in redactions, bookmarks, page organization, and document assembly.Â
- Extreme Attention to Detail – RequiredÂ
- Ability to spot small inconsistencies in names, numbers, domains, or formatting.Â
- Strong quality-control mindset.Â
- Legal Experience – PreferredÂ
- Understanding of basic pleadings (Complaint, Answer, Motion).Â
- Familiarity with litigation workflows is a plus.Â
- Template-Based Drafting Experience – PreferredÂ
- Comfortable working with standardized legal templates and customizing them per case.Â
