Senior AI Agentic Developer

We are seeking aSenior AI Agentic Developer to spearhead our next-generation AI-powered development initiatives. You will develop cutting-edge solutions that redefine the retail experience and position the client as an industry leader in generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI-powered applications using Python/FastAPI backends, React/TypeScript frontends, and Google Cloud Vertex AI, while adhering to development best practices and quality standards
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned GenAI systems, including architectural decisions, feature delivery, operational readiness, production support, and cost optimization
• Adopt AI-augmented development workflows and demonstrate effective collaboration with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery and improve code quality
• Partner with solution engineers, architects, and product teams to develop technical design specifications and validate alignment with architectural standards, non-functional requirements, and business needs
• Implement LLM orchestration patterns, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multi-agent workflows, and structured-output generation
• Build and maintain observability pipelines for AI platforms, including trace analysis, token-usage tracking, cost monitoring, and quality metrics
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship across the team, helping colleagues build skills in agentic development practices, prompt-engineering techniques, and AI-tool integration
• Perform cross-platform analysis and trade-off assessments across backend technologies, frontend technologies, and AI services to ensure architectural consistency and identify optimization opportunities
• Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and code, test, and implement software enhancements across the full stack
• Ensure timely delivery of AI initiatives by proactively communicating risks, blockers, and schedule impacts, and drive resolution to maintain commitments
• Manage concurrent deliverables across services and platforms, respond to operational requests, and resolve production issues effectively
• Use observability and monitoring tools, including LangFuse, Grafana, Dynatrace, and Splunk, to review dashboards, investigate anomalies, monitor AI-model performance, and track cost metrics

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development, with hands-on expertise in generative AI and agentic development, including AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Windsurf
• Expertise in generative AI application development, GenAI design patterns, and GenAI cloud platforms, including Google Cloud Vertex AI, Gemini, Anthropic Claude, and OpenAI
• Proficiency in LLM observability and tracing with Langfuse, LangSmith, or similar platforms
• Skills in prompt-engineering techniques, including chain-of-thought prompting, few-shot learning, and structured outputs
• Knowledge of LLM orchestration, RAG architectures, multi-agent systems, tool calling, and agent evaluation
• Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, asynchronous programming, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy ORM
• Background in MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, query optimization, and Alembic migrations
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization patterns, including OAuth 2.0, Okta, JWT, and role-based access control (RBAC)
• Competency in Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
• Skills in React, TypeScript, Zustand state management, and Material UI (MUI)
• Familiarity with data-visualization libraries, including Recharts and D3.js
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, including Vertex AI, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and IAM, and experience with Git, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
