AsAssistant Store Manager you are the right-hand to the Store Manager! You'll become well trained to cover all aspects ofstore operations, achieve key performanceandfinancial objectives, as well asdirectional andperformance planning. Be part of it! 

Overall, we are looking for someone who takes pride in being agreat merchant, apassionate leader, andcommittedto making sure everycustomer experienceis better than the last!

Here are some ways you will make an impact:

• Assists with the management of all aspects of Store operations including customer service, store condition and the selection, training, supervising, and performance management of Store Sales Associates

• Assists in unloading all merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transfers merchandise from stockroom to store

• Collaborates with team members to ensure the store meets or exceeds the established merchandising standards for product quality, presentation and visual marketing/merchandising

• Keep up with reporting to support sales, earnings, and minimizing shrink

• Assumes full management responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager

If this sounds like you, make sure you also meet these requirements:

• Two (2) or more yearsof groceryor retail management experience 

  • Hands-onleadership experiencein grocery retail (e.g. Produce, Deli/Bakery, or Meat/Seafood departments) is highly preferredbut not required.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs with frequent lifting above shoulder height

• Schedule Availability:Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays

• You must be18 years of ageor older

• High School Diploma/ Equivalent

• Valid driver’s licenseand safe driving record per GFS policy
