Senior Accountant – NetSuite, Multi-Entity Accounting & Month-End Close | Remote

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring aSenior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and close processes across multiple entities and projects.

This is a hands-on accounting role requiring strongNetSuite expertise, excellent financial discipline, and the ability to maintain accurate books with minimal oversight.

You’ll work closely with senior finance and asset management leadership while supporting complexmulti-entity, investment, development, and project-level accounting.

What You’ll Own

General Ledger & Month-End Close

• Maintain accurategeneral ledger, journal entries, and financial records
• Own month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review:
• • Balance sheets
  • Income statements
  • Entity-level P&Ls
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies quickly
• Maintain clean, reliable, and audit-ready financial records

Multi-Entity & Project Accounting

• Manage accounting across multiple legal entities and projects
• Track project-level expenses and property-level P&Ls
• Maintain accurate intercompany and entity-level financial information
• Support new entity setups and future project expansion
• Ensure financial structures and reporting remain organized and consistent

Compliance & External Accounting Support

• Maintain compliance withGAAP and internal controls
• Prepare supporting documentation for audits, tax filings, and reviews
• Coordinate with external accounting and tax partners on:
• • Tax matters
  • Cost segregation
  • Quarterly reviews
• Ensure requested financial documentation is accurate and delivered on time

Financial Reporting & Leadership Support

• Provide accurate financial reporting to leadership
• Support forecasting and financial decision-making
• Explain financial results and discrepancies clearly
• Maintain confidence in the accuracy and completeness of financial data

NetSuite & Accounting Systems

Work extensively with:

• NetSuite – core accounting system
• AppFolio
• Excel / Google Sheets
• ClickUp
• Gmail

Maintain strong data accuracy and consistency across accounting and operational systems.

Requirements

• Strong, hands-onNetSuite experience, including:
• • Daily accounting workflows
  • Imports
  • Reconciliations
  • General ledger management
• Strong experience with:
• • Journal entries
  • Account reconciliations
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Month-end and year-end close
• AdvancedExcel / Google Sheets skills, including working with large datasets
• Strong understanding of accounting principles andGAAP
• Exceptional attention to detail and financial accuracy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong written and verbal English communication
• Comfortable working remotely during U.S. business hours

Nice to Have

• Multi-entity accounting experience
• Real estate, development, investment, or property accounting background
• Experience withAppFolio or similar property management platforms
• Experience working with external accounting firms, auditors, or tax professionals
• Experience supporting project-level or property-level financial reporting
