Claims Administrator

Salary: R29 000 – R32 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring aClaims Administrator for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.

Role overview

You will manage UK insurance or warranty claims from first notification to settlement, keeping every file accurate and moving. This is a hands-on role where accuracy and follow-through matter every day, and you will be trusted to work independently without being chased. You will also be part of a supportive remote team, with regular check-ins, clear priorities and the tools you need to do your best work from day one, so you always know what good looks like.

You will work UK business hours (09:00–17:00 UK, 11:00–19:00 SAST) from home, as part of a South African team placed directly with established UK employers. Remote Recruitment supports you from placement onwards.

Key responsibilities

• Register new claims and verify policy details
• Request and chase supporting documents
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and assessors
• Update the claims system at each stage
• Prepare files for assessment and payment

What you'll need

• Experience in claims or insurance administration
• Accuracy with data entry and policy checks
• Clear written English
• Strong follow-up discipline
• Comfort with a case management system

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Guidewire or similar
• Experience with fraud indicators
• Excel for tracking
