Job Overview

We are looking for aFinancier to join ourAccounts Payable / Accounts Receivable team and support key accounting processes across our organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for cross-charges, prepayments, fixed assets, and other asset-related accounting processes. You will perform period-end closing activities, balance sheet reconciliations and internal controls, as well as support internal and external audits. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial data and documentation.

This opportunity is well suited to a finance professional with accounting experience, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an interest in improving financial processes within an international organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer cross-charge processes

• Process and monitor prepayments

• Perform accounting and administrative activities related to subsidies and grants

• Manage fixed assets and other asset-related accounting processes

• Execute internal controls within assigned areas

• Support internal and external audits

• Develop, update, and maintain internal policies and procedures

• Perform period-end closing activities

• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations

• Upload reports to BlackLine

• Perform reclassifications and other necessary financial adjustments

• Ensure accurate and timely financial data and documentation

• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline financial processes

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

• Previous experience in accounting or finance

• Good understanding of financial and accounting principles

• Good knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation activities

• Strong MS Office skills

•Fluency in Lithuanian and good command of English (B2 level or above) are required

Preferred Qualifications

•Hebrew language skills would be considered an advantage

• Knowledge of the E1 business accounting system

• Experience with BlackLine

• Experience with fixed assets, prepayments, cross-charges, or other asset-related accounting processes

• Experience supporting internal or external audits

• Previous experience in a multinational organization
