Tech description:

ModernLoop is using Java, React, Relay, GraphQL & Postgres. We’re making use of the latest and greatest SaaS services like Auth0, Hasura, and Netlify so that we can stay focused on our core product.

On the frontend, we’re looking for engineers to build easy-to-use flows for complicated concepts like Scheduling, Rescheduling, Interview Training, Interviewer Preferences and Candidate Availability.

On the backend, we’re looking for engineers to refine our scheduling algorithms, architect as system to tract customer facing metrics, and build integrations with all the tools our customers currently use to recruit the best talent.

# Business Development Representative

### **About Us**

Lydia (CEO) and Chris (CTO) are ex-Facebook, Slack, Brex, and Salesforce employees with 15 years of combined experience interviewing and partnering with recruiting teams at various company sizes in order to hire top talent. ModernLoop aims to be the recruiting infrastructure that powers recruiting operations at every company.

### **The Opportunity**

As a Business Development Representative at ModerLoop, you will drive our future growth by working with the Account Executive team to drive outbound activity. The ideal candidate will be excited about prospecting to potential customers and can communicate our value proposition. 

### **Key Responsibilities**

- Utilize proven outbound/BDR strategies to secure meetings at target accounts for our Account Executives.
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Chief Revenue Officer and Marketing to grow our commercial pipeline
- Develop creative and effective outbound campaigns from idea-generation through execution with the vision to scale them.
- Keep lead information updated in our CRM
- Build out target prospect lists and input in the CRM
- Experience using hubspot, salesloft, salesforce or outreach

### Qualities/requirements we look for in our next teammate:

- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years of BDR or inside sales experience, preferably at a technology company, with a track record of top performance
- Experience working in HR/ HR tech a huge plus 
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
- Persistent self-starter
