Role summary:
The (USA) Technician III, Facilities Maintenance, is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs across various facility systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural components. This role involves managing projects by coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules. The technician supports office relocations and remodels, enforces safety protocols, and collaborates with internal teams and external partners to maintain facility standards. About the team:
The Campus Operations Logistics Waste & Recycle team plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and well-managed Home Office Campus. This team leads waste and recycling operations, driving zero-waste initiatives and sustainability efforts. Members coordinate activities to support facility maintenance and property management while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Focused on continuous improvement, the team delivers timely, high-quality results aligned with Walmart’s commitment to environmental stewardship and efficient resource use. Their work promotes operational excellence and responsible practices that contribute to a sustainable campus environment.
What you'll do:

Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on doors, flooring, interior and exterior structures, and HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Manage projects by coordinating internal and external resources, monitoring progress, mitigating delays and costs, and scheduling workloads.
Relocate and remodel office layouts, including setting up and taking down furniture and fixtures for work orders and special events.
Inspect completed projects to identify and resolve issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Lead and support teams by coordinating assignments, providing feedback, and promoting safety and quality standards.
Develop and implement processes to meet business needs and identify improvement opportunities.

What you'll bring:

Proven experience in facility repair and maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
Strong knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures and safety compliance.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects by coordinating resources, scheduling workloads, and monitoring budgets.
Skilled in relocating and remodeling office layouts, including furniture setup and modular wall installation.
Effective collaboration with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely project completion.
Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety programs for personnel and property protection.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
