The Role

This is not a traditional F&B Manager role.

At Anantara Bazaruto, food and beverage is theatre, storytelling, and connection. We are looking for a hands-on leader who understandsluxury in a barefoot setting—where refinement meets authenticity, and every moment feels effortless yet deeply considered.

You will be the driving force behind creatingmemorable dining experiences, leading from the floor, developing talent, and partnering closely with the Executive Chef to bring our culinary vision to life.

    You build confident, capable teams. Training happens on the floor, in real time, every day.
  • Bar & beverage expertise
    You elevate the bar offering—craft cocktails, storytelling through drinks, and a strong sense of occasion.
  • True partnership with the kitchen
    You and the Chef operate as one team, ensuring seamless delivery of concept to guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all F&B operations with aguest-experience-first mindset
  • Driveservice standards aligned to barefoot luxury
  • Coach, mentor, and develop ahigh-performing, service-driven team
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef onconcepts, menus, and storytelling
  • Elevate thebar program and beverage experiences
  • Ensure consistency across all outlets—from beach service to fine dining
  • Embed a culture ofownership, accountability, and pride

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as an F&B Manager (or strong Assistant stepping up) inluxury hospitality
  • Strongbar and beverage background (non-negotiable)
  • A naturalhost and storyteller
  • Passion fordeveloping people and building teams
  • Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable in aremote island environment
  • Deep understanding ofguest experience, not just operations
  • Energy, warmth, and presence
