Key responsibilities may include:Ā
- Channel Management:Ā
- Managing relationships with key online travel agencies (OTAs) and Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to ensure accurate room availability and pricing.āÆ
- Implementing and maintaining channel management systems to synchronize room inventory across all distribution channels.āÆĀ
- Monitoring and optimizing channel mix to maximize revenue across different platforms.āÆĀ
- Pricing Strategy:Ā
- Analyzing market trends and competitor pricing to develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies on various channels.āÆĀ
- Managing room inventory allocation across different booking channels to optimize yield.āÆĀ
- Implementing revenue management tools and techniques to maximize revenue potential.āÆĀ
- Website Distribution:Ā
- Managing the online booking engine on the Minor Hotel brand websites, ensuring seamless user experience and optimal conversion rates.āÆĀ
- Optimizing website content and functionality to drive direct bookings.āÆ
- Data Analysis and Reporting:Ā
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as booking volume, conversion rates, and average daily rate (ADR) across all distribution channels.āÆĀ
- Generating comprehensive reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.āÆĀ
- Analyzing data to inform strategic decisions regarding distribution channels and pricing strategies.āÆĀ
- Marketing and Promotions:Ā
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute online marketing campaigns to drive bookings through various channels.āÆĀ
- Managing online promotional codes and packages to maximize revenue.āÆĀ
- Technical Expertise:Ā
- Staying updated on the latest e-distribution technologies and industry trends.āÆĀ
- Troubleshooting technical issues related to channel management systems and online booking platforms.āÆĀ
Required Skills and Qualifications:Ā
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldāÆĀ
- Proven experience in hotel e-distribution, revenue management, and channel managementāÆĀ
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting toolsāÆĀ
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholdersāÆĀ
- Expertise in using channel management systems and online booking platformsāÆĀ
- Knowledge of hotel operations and industry best practicesāÆĀ
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills preferredāÆĀ
- At least Bachelorās Degree in any related filed.
- Experience in online marketing roles in the hotel or travel industry.
- Very good written & verbal English is essential.
- Good understating of Search Engine Optimization and Pay-per-clicks tactics.
- Experience in using Content Management Systems.
- Proficient analytical web skills and ability to analyze website performance data (i.e. financial, statistical and /or performance).
- Strong analytical skills are a must. Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met.
