We are seeking an experienced VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) Expert with a strong background in SAP Financial Processing and Invoice Verification. The ideal candidate willĀ be responsible forĀ managing andĀ optimizingĀ our vendor invoice processes, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and accuracy in our financial operations. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to implement andĀ maintainĀ VIM solutions, troubleshoot issues, and provide training and support to end-users.Ā

Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing and Verification: Manage the end-to-end process of vendor invoice management, including receipt, verification, and processing of invoices using SAP systems. This includes daily alignments with all other Procure to Pay (P2P) team members responsible for other parts of the E2E process
- Support successful rollout management: Managing roll-out waves for all remaining METRO companies. Lead and deliver Fit to template workshops, analyze local requirements and secure standardization of processes in general
- Automation and System Integration:Ā UtilizeĀ SAP ERPĀ integrationsĀ automationĀ toolsĀ as well as general AI optionsĀ toĀ streamline invoice processing and reduce manual errors
- Compliance and Reporting:Ā Ensure all vendor invoice activitiesĀ comply withĀ legal and financial standards.Ā SupportĀ ofĀ E-Invoice implementation covering local legal requirements
- ImprovementĀ and Dispute Resolution: Oversee the end-to-end vendor invoice management process, from receipt to paymentĀ and review existing processĀ aboutĀ continuous improvement opportunities.Ā Support resolvingĀ discrepancies related to invoice amounts, pre-approval discrepancies, and overbilling efficientlyĀ
- Collaboration and Process Improvement: Work closely with Finance,Ā Process Owners,Ā Procurement, IT, and other departments toĀ identifyĀ outdatedĀ processes, and implement best practices in vendor invoice managementĀ
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelorās or masterāsĀ degree in business informatics, business administration
- Economics,Ā Computer Science, or a related fieldĀ Ā
- Solid knowledge (min.Ā 5Ā years) in Financial Accounting, specifically Accounts PayableĀ Ā
- Proven experience (min.Ā 5Ā years) in large scale SAP transformations projects and specifically in VIM solution, SAP Financial Processing and Invoice Verification is essential. Familiarity withĀ SAP-MM,Ā SAP AribaĀ and other related systems is highly desirable, as well as understanding of vendorĀ managementĀ best practices, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively handle vendor interactions and work with cross-functional teams
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)āÆĀ
- Willingness to travelĀ (around 20-25% of working time)Ā
