Salary Range:

• Entry-Level RN (Med-Surg): $60,000 to $75,000 per year

• Mid-Level RN (Med-Surg): $75,000 to $90,000 per year

• Senior RN (Med-Surg): $90,000 to $110,000+ per year

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in alignment with applicable standards of practice.

• Perform care interventions such as medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.

• Plan, document, and communicate patient care effectively.

• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physician, patient, and family.

• Assist patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation.

• Collaborate across disciplines for patient care coordination, including transfer, discharge, and referrals.

• Provide patient and family education tailored to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 45 days of hire

• Licenses: Current RN license in KY or compact state required. New graduates may work under a KY provisional license for up to 6 months with the expectation of obtaining an RN license within the first 6 months of employment.
