Pay From: $22 Per Hour
MUST:
3+ years of experience in a multi-physician specialty practice
Flexible to work 27-30 hours per week and more if needed
Flexible to work every other Saturday
Scheduling procedures or surgeries
Checking patients in and out
Experience pre-authorizing procedures and handling pre-certs
Ability to process referrals
Verifying insurance
Answering phone calls
Taking detailed phone messages
Must have strong-EMR experience
Strong scheduling experience
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
DUTIES:
The duties of the Medical Receptionist include but are not limited to the following:
Answer phone calls
Respond to inquiries
Obtain pre-authorizations and pre-certs on various procedures
Schedule appointments
Respond to inquiries
Process referrals
Check patients in and out
Forward calls to appropriate contact
Enter patient information into EMR
Provide customer service
Assist patients as needed
